MEET ENGIN
ENGin is a global nonprofit founded on the belief that authentic connection across borders can change lives. Our core program pairs English speakers worldwide (“volunteers”) with English learners in Ukraine (“students”) for weekly 1-on-1 videochat conversations. In just one hour/week, volunteers create a safe space for their learners to break the language barrier, discover a new culture, and receive professional guidance or emotional support. Volunteers also reap significant benefits, building cross-border friendships, growing their global awareness, and honing their communication skills.

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: EMPOWER EMPLOYEES TO GIVE BACK
Mentor an English learner in 1-on-1 weekly video chats.
Open to any English speaker, no prior experience needed.
Minimum commitment of 10-12 weeks (volunteers choose the day and time).
Flexible scheduling allows volunteers to join at any time.

CONVERSATION CLUB
ENGin students are working on improving their spoken English by speaking weekly with a single volunteer. Help them take their speaking skills to the next level by leading them through several guided activities in a small group. Conversation clubs help expose learners to new people and new accents. Volunteers get an authentic immersion into Ukrainian culture, an enriching social experience, and an opportunity to make an immediate direct impact.
