4 Years.
Still Fighting.
Still Here
When russia invaded, the whole world was watching. The headlines have moved on — but the war hasn't.
Ukrainians still wake up to air alarms. They still go to work, raise their kids, and try to plan for their futures — because they don't have the option of looking away. And neither do we.

$15 covers the cost of matching one Ukrainian participant with a dedicated English-speaking volunteer.
ENGin is a nonprofit that has stood with Ukraine every day of this war. We connect Ukrainians of all ages with English-speaking volunteers worldwide for a weekly video conversation — a steady hour of normalcy, growth, and human connection in the middle of war.

ENGin started with a single Zoom call between a mom of two in the U.S. and a Ukrainian teenager who struggled to hold a conversation in English. Now it's grown into a global community that hasn't stopped, even as the world's attention drifts. We are an independent, grassroots organization, funded primarily by donations from ordinary people who refuse to forget.

"I'm originally from Kherson, a city in southern Ukraine. Even now, large parts of Kherson remain under Russian control, and the area is shelled almost daily. My heart is still in Kherson. But ENGin helped me take the first step. It gave me the tools to speak, the strength to act, and the belief that even when everything is falling apart, something new can begin."
— Anastasiia Vlasenko, ENGin student
The world moved on. We didn't.
